MY
Projects
My philosophy is to avoid judging others through a conventional lens, emphasizing the fluidity and diversity of gender. I have discarded the existing gender-neutral design approaches, as well as the androgynous styles and colors prevalent in the market. Instead, I use a combination of hard and soft materials to convey my understanding of "gender." Hard resin and soft yarn become the primary materials, symbolizing the multi-layered and rich nature of gender. This striking contrast in materials not only reflects the resilience and strength of gender but also communicates my profound contemplation on gender diversity.

"Great souls are androgynous."
What I want to express is the concept of 'great souls are androgynous' through the use of materials. The transparent resin material, which solidifies randomly, creates shapes that resemble water, and the water ripple effect is brought to life by lighting. It's often said that women are made of water, but what I want to convey is that water can also be strong and solid.

"Threads of Society" is not just a knitting project; it's a tribute to the fundamental human elements that sustain our everyday lives. By knitting together their stories, we not only celebrate their contributions but also weave a stronger, more cohesive social fabric that honors everyone's role and resilience. This project is a step towards acknowledging that every thread counts in the vast tapestry of society.

Spring 2024
“Child Memory” is a CLO3D-based digital fashion exploration that revisits the emotional textures of early childhood. Developed as part of a collaborative competition between Old Navy and the Academy of Art University, this project transforms nostalgic fragments — the softness of a childhood blanket, the familiarity of playful silhouettes, the whimsical proportions of memory — into digital garments that feel tender, surreal, and human.
Merging technical precision with emotional storytelling, the design reflects how memories from our formative years shape our sense of comfort, safety, and identity. By leveraging CLO3D’s capabilities, the collection renders these emotions into tactile illusions — puffy volumes, quilted knits, and cartoon-like contours — offering a futuristic yet sentimental vision of wearable nostalgia.
This project is a tribute to the resilience and creativity rooted in our youngest selves, imagined through the lens of digital fashion.
