I am Vanda Ouyang, an artist and fashion designer from China, currently honing my craft in San Francisco. My unique journey in art has taken me across the globe, immersing myself in diverse cultural arts and gaining new perspectives. I have held a personal art exhibition and continue to explore the boundaries of creativity and expression.

Growing up with a father who is a traditional ink painter, I was encouraged to embrace contemporary art and break free from conventional constraints. He taught me that life and art have no definitions, a philosophy that profoundly shapes my approach to design and creativity.

For me, art embodies the freedom I seek in life. I view life as a wilderness, not a track, and I was born with a desire to be different. Each courageous step and new experience fuels my creativity, drawing inspiration from my personal journey, dreams, and the myriad cultures I've encountered. My work aims to touch each viewer with sincerity and originality.

As a fashion designer, I have chosen this medium to present my art, embracing the absence of restrictions and constraints. I have a deep passion for textiles, and I love the process of fabric transformation. By collaging fabrics and using unexpected materials, such as combining resin with yarn or raffia with beading, I create abstract artworks that transcend traditional boundaries.
